Swinging for a Cause: Highlights from the Alleluia Baskets TopGolf Fundraising Event
This year’s Alleluia Baskets TopGolf Fundraising Event brought together community members, supporters, and new friends for an evening of generosity, connection, and fun. With joyful energy filling every bay, the night served as a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people unite for a cause greater than themselves. By the end of the event, the collective generosity of our attendees helped raise over 25,000 dollars. These funds will directly support the thousands of Easter baskets Alleluia Baskets assembles for families in need across our region.
Alleluia Baskets exists to provide children and seniors with thoughtfully curated Easter baskets filled with food, essentials, and small gifts. Our mission centers on uplifting the dignity of families and seniors and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and supported. The TopGolf event played an important role in ensuring that this mission continues to grow.
A Night of Community and Connection
From the moment guests arrived, there was a shared spirit of warmth and welcome. Each booth buzzed with laughter, conversation, and friendly competition. Whether participants were skilled golfers or stepping into a bay for the very first time, everyone was included in the fun. The event was not simply about playing well. It was about being present, making memories, and giving back.
Friendly Competition and Fun Highlights
Throughout the evening, players were invited to join in the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin competitions. For a two dollar entry, participants took their best shot, and cheers echoed across the venue as golfers celebrated impressive swings and surprising wins. Prizes were awarded to the top performers, adding to the excitement and camaraderie of the night.
Alongside the hitting bays, guests also enjoyed browsing and bidding in the silent auction. Items ranged from themed baskets to indulgent baked goods. The fresh apple and pecan pies drew the most bids and conversation. Popular raffle basket themes included the coffee basket, the lottery basket, and the dinner basket. These items showcased the creativity and generosity of donors and volunteers alike.
